Why The Florrest?The Florrest is a unique property with domes immersed in a private 153 acre forest with creeks and wildlife; It is rare to have so much natural space to yourself that is peaceful and feels out of this world. The owner Mena, established this space with the intention of being able to share the magic and harmony with others. She is passionate about wellness, transformation, aligning with lives that we love, sovereignty, and collaborating with souls who celebrate rising together. She loves hosting souls who honor the land and individual sovereignty. This is an opportunity to reconnect in nature and to rest and awaken to deep fulfillment.

How do I get to The Florrest?The Florrest is located by the Piedmont National forest in the state of Georgia, USA. It is 90min south of Atlanta and 30 min northeast of Macon. The best way to get here is by car. Once you are on Highway 11 (Monticello Hwy) turn east onto Otis Redding Drive; immediately you will cross railroad tracks. Count the yellow arrow signs: the forth one shows a left turn; the gate entrance to the Florrest will on your left just as you pass it. If you reached the dirt road, you just passed us. Will we be alone on the property?You are renting the whole forest for you and your group. The caretaker lives at forest. Your privacy and space are always respected. There's a team of land management, housekeeping, and pool services dedicated to the upkeep of the property. They will usually work around retreats. Pool is serviced weekly on Thursdays, 8:00-9:00am approx. If they show up, please respect their work. If you need extra privacy at certain times please let us know in advance.

How many people can stay at The Florrest?You are renting the whole private forest ! It has accommodations for 15 people: 12 guests plus 3 retreat leaders/support.

Will my guests sign up for a retreat with shared rooms?In our experience, individuals in groups love the spacious and geometrically shaped shared rooms, which are rarely offered as private rooms at retreat centers. Our 153-acre forest retreat provides a serene, secluded environment, enhancing the retreat experience through shared rooms that foster community and support while still ensuring privacy with exclusive use of the entire property. Shared rooms also allow us to offer competitive pricing without compromising quality. Retreat leaders can customize programs with ample space for various activities. We are committed to a supportive partnership for your retreat's success and look forward to hosting you. Note: Bed requests need to be made 1 week in advance.

What are the rates for a stay there?Nightly rates for renting this 153 acre forest are found from our pricing page. We have peak and off-peak rates. Prices are subject to change. Once you book, you are confirmed!

What are the options for meals?1) Community cooking: this is a great experience where you plan your menu and your group prepares the meals together. A variant: each person can take care of their own meals/ bring things to share as a potluck. There is an Ingles supermarket 12min away from the property, a Sam's club in Macon, and an Aldi's. 2) Catering. Choose and hire your favorite vendor to support the theme of your retreat and client needs. You can have your assistant support you with the set up. 3) Private chef. You are allowed to bring your own chef and use the kitchen in the main dome at The Florrest. There are rooms in the main dome that can accommodate the chef.

What are the check-in and check-out times?Check-in: 4pm Check-out: 11am If you need to arrive earlier or leave later than the normal hours, please let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate your needs. There is a $111/hr fee.

What days are available for booking?There is a minimum of 2 nights for your stay. Explore several weekends you would like to host and we will share what we have available during our call.

Do you allow wedding receptions or any other special occasion here?Yes, we are delighted to offer our beautiful property as a serene and magical venue for a day time weddings only. While we uphold a 'no-alcohol' policy, we allow a ceremonial toast to honor your union. We invite you to celebrate your love in a truly peaceful setting that encourages mindfulness and joy.

What can we do here?This is a canvas of infinite opportunities in a nature sanctuary! On this property, you are invited to rest & awaken (rest from stress and conditioning to awaken to what your soul came for) in community. Forest bathe, explore trails and creeks, swim, detox in the sauna, gain resilience in the cold-plunge, watch the stars from the hot-tub, catch a nap on a hammock, play disc-golf, throw some hoops, have a picnic under the willow, explore with bare feet, shoot pics of nature, play games, catch a ball, float in the pool, share a yummy meal, watch a movie together, journal sitting in the creek, do breath work in the woods, do sunrise yoga, walk to see the sunset on Otis Redding dr, drink fresh juices, relax and take in the Sun, count your blessings, gather woods and pine cones, sit around the fire, share stories, prepare some s'mores, explore the barefoot playground, balance on the slack line.... You can definitely have sound healings, energy work, intuitive consultations, singing circles, women's and men's empowerment circles, ecstatic dance journeys, drumming, fire ceremonies, new moon and full moon rituals, detox or nutrition retreats, etc. You get to see yourself show up as a creator.

Are pets or service animals allowed?Service animals are legally required to be welcome. Pets and emotional support animals are not due to the high vibe nature of this sanctuary and past experiences that were not supportive to the whole.

Do you have a charging station for electric vehicles?We have a 4kW NEMA 14-50 outlet. Tesla charging stations at Rancher's gas station are 15 minutes away from our property.

Can we do plant medicine on the property?NO illegal drugs or substances are allowed at The Florrest. Although we have journeyed in spaces where it IS legal and know the transformative nature of these plants provided by mother earth, we do NOT allow their use on the property. We want to be in integrity with the legal norms of our location and have peace that we are safe in that regard.

What are the reservation and cancellation policies?We are committed to supporting you to make your retreat vision come to life. Your retreat days are confirmed once you pay your deposit. The full balance is due 60 days before the retreat start day. Payment plans available. Please note that timely payment is essential to secure your reservation. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and release the booking. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so if you anticipate any delays in payment, please contact us in advance to discuss potential options. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Your payment implies you have read our House Rules and accept them. Any changes need to be agreed upon in written format. To change your booking, you have up to 60 days before your retreat start day. When you pay in full, you have one opportunity to reschedule it within the following 8 months. You have 24 hours to request a refund.

What is your refund policy?We have a no-refund policy for all bookings at our retreat venue, whether for renting the property or attending one of our retreats. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and to protect your investment, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. We recommend you research online and get your own travel insurance.
